Mail Order

Treat yourself or surprise someone special with a delivery of fresh Georgia apples, kishus (also known as “Georgia Kisses”), and pecans!

NEW THIS FALL! We are adding Georgia apples to our mail order option! We are offering three of our Hometown Markets’ most popular apple varieties from the Blue Ridge region of North Georgia.

Arkansas Black, our most requested variety, is an heirloom that is very firm and tart when first picked, then they begin to mellow and their skin darkens over time. They keep extremely well and should have a sweet-tart flavor upon delivery. Great for eating, charcuterie boards, or baking.

Mutsu is a Japanese hybrid that takes on the best qualities of different apples such as Golden Delicious, Winesap, and Rome Beauty to name a few. They keep well and are slow to oxidize, so they are excellent to use raw in recipes.

And our most fun variety to say, Ludacrisp® is a hybrid of Honeycrisp and Fuji. They have a complex blend of sweet and juicy, with tropical undertones that are both rich and refreshingly different. Great for snacking, salads, and pies.

In the event that Mutsu or Ludacrisp® apples are not available, we will replace them with a comparable Georgia-grown apple variety.

CITRUS IS BACK! As we head into the holiday season, we will ship our customer favorite kishus! These snack-sized mandarins are grown on the oldest citrus grove in coastal Georgia that produces the most colorful, flavorful citrus fruit in our so-called Peach State. Our Georgia-grown kishus are seedless and sweeter, juicier, and easier to peel than store-bought fruit with name brands like Halos and Cuties.

We are also excited to announce a new citrus available for mail order in late December and January called Shiranuis. These large, easy-to-peel mandarins are a Japanese hybrid that are also referred to as Dekopans and trademarked Sumos. They are extremely juicy and sweet with no mess.
Wondering why you don’t see satsumas mentioned above? Satsumas are naturally alternate bearing, which means they produce a smaller crop the year following a high production year, like the one we saw in 2024. Unfortunately there are not enough satsumas being produced this winter to be able to offer them as part of our mail order this year.
