What are Kishus?
Published: December 5, 2025

Kishus are mandarins about the size of a golf ball or smaller. They are extremely easy to peel, seedless, and unwaxed, which allows you to zest them and use the peel.

Kishus have a delicate balance of sweetness and acidity that’s hard to match. While they may look similar to Halos® and Cuties® you see most often in grocery stores, they’re truly in their own league when it comes to taste. Kishus are particularly sweet and flavorful – if you eat them side by side, we’re sure you’ll choose a kishu every time!
